Q:  What Credit Cards do you accept?
A:  We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Amex, and Diners Club credit cards. We also accept any bank debit card that is affiliated with these credit card companies.

Q:  Can I pay by personal check?
A:  Yes. UniversityBooksOnline.com currently accepts personal or corporate checks. Orders that are going to be paid by check need to be placed via phone or facsimile. If the funds are not immediately available in your checking account, please select an alternative payment method. In the event your financial institution returns your electronic check as non-sufficient funds, you will pay a service charge of $45 or the maximum allowed by law, which may be debited from your account using an Electronic Funds Transfer or bank draft.

Q:  Do you charge sales tax?
A:  In accordance with applicable state law, we are required to charge sales tax in select states. Sales tax is applied to the total amount of the order and is based on shipment's destination state tax rate. Please be aware that you, the customer, may be required to pay use tax in certain jurisdictions in accordance with applicable state law.

Q:  Can I purchase books using a school purchase order?
A:  Yes, you can. If you are purchasing books on behalf of a school, business, or any other type of institution, please submit a valid purchase order to: University Books, LLC, Purchasing Department, 40 Fairfield Place, West Caldwell, NJ 07006, (tel) 908-687-2665 (fax) 908-687-4255. Once the purchase order is submitted, a Purchasing Representative will contact you within two (2) business days to place and confirm your order.
