Help - Returning Books (back)
Q:  What is your return policy?
A:  You can return a book to UniversityBooksOnline.com within 30 days of the initial purchase date. In order to receive credit for a return, the books must be in its original condition (no marks or names on the inside covers, highlighting, bent bindings, or dog-eared corners). If it is in new condition, we will refund to you the cost of the book promptly. UniversityBooksOnline.com will refund the cost of your original shipping only if the reason for the return is due to an error caused by us.

Q:  How do I return my book(s)?
A:  When making a return, please make sure that you package the books securely in a box by using packing material or Styrofoam peanuts. Refrain from using newspaper due to the fact that the ink may rub off onto the books during transit. You must make sure that a copy of the original invoice is included with the return. If a copy is not included you will not be eligible for any refund. If you no longer have the invoice, log on to UniversityBooksOnline.com, log on to your personal account, go to "order history" and print out your invoice. Once the invoice has been printed, circle or highlight the book(s) that you are returning and include this document in the return shipment. Please be aware that we cannot credit the appropriate account if we are not able to identify your original book order. In addition, we strongly recommend that you send your return through a shipping method that enables tracking, such as USPS certified mail, USPS priority mail or UPS. If we do not have record of receiving your return and you cannot trace your return, we will not be able to refund you your money.

Q:  When can I expect a refund for my return?
A:  We will refund all eligible returns promptly after receiving your return. All refunds are posted to your original form of payment. When your credit shows depends upon your financial institution but on average, you should see your credit in 2 - 3 business weeks.

Q:  Returning a Rental?
A:  If you are returning a "Rented" book WE pay for shipping!  All you have to do is log into your Account, find the specific order which contains the rented book and click "View Return Shipping Label" next to the title and a PDF document will appear in a separate window.  Simply print that label, securely affix it on a box and drop it off at any FedEx or Kinkos location.  You can also call 1-800-GO-FEDEX for locations near you!

You can also Extend your Rental from your Accounts Menu!

Remember, you MUST adhere to our Rental Good Condition Policy:
Books in good condition do not have any of the following:

* Stains of any sort
* Water damage
* Missing, torn or loose pages/cover
* Handwriting, excessive marking/highlighting
* Broken spine/binding
* Any other significant damage that would prevent us from renting it

If you return a book that contains any of the above you will be charged for the replacement cost of the book.
